About Us

The Foundation for Islamic Education is dedicated to serving the social, spiritual, moral and religious needs of Muslims in the area and the community at large. We provide services to the greater Philadelphia area and its suburbs, particularly Montgomery, Delaware and Chester Counties.

 

Our services include a weekend school, 5 daily prayers, Jumu'ah prayer at 1:15 PM every Friday year-round, Eid celebrations, annual Qu'ran Recitation and Knowledge of Islam contests, marriage officiations, social gatherings, weekend barbecues, as well as funeral services, and more.

Weekend School

5 daily prayers, Jumu'ah (congregational) prayers starting at 1:15 PM every Friday throughout the year, annual Qu'ran recitation and Knowledge of Islam contests, Marriage ceremonies and officiations, social gatherings, adult and family learning groups, Eid celebrations, weekend barbecues, funeral and memorial services, Shahadah witnessing and new-Muslim learning.

Our motto is "Building an Islamic Community One Sunday at a Time", and we strive to live up to it in every sense. Our goal is to build character and Islamic identity and to provide students with the foundational knowledge of Arabic, Qur’an, and Islamic Studies.
